Estes Park - Jazz Fest & Art Walk, May 17 - 18, 2014, Artwalk starts at 10 am. Jazz performances begin at noon Performance Park Amphitheater

Durango - Iron Horse Bicycle Classic, May 24-26, 2014. The 2014 event will mark the 43th anniversary of Colorado's largest, oldest and most renowned cycling event. The main event, a 47-mile road race between Durango and Silverton, is limited to the first 600 riders who register for the event.

Telluride - 31st Annual Telluride Balloon Festival, June 6-8, 2014 is one of the smaller festivals, it is arguably the most beautiful of the season. Weather permitting, over a dozen hot air balloons launch from Town Park on the east end of town and sail down the valley landing about one mile out of town. The balloons launch at sunrise (between 6:45 and 7 am) and bystanders often get to help with the launch - and get a ride to boot!

Frisco - Colorado BBQ Challenge, June 13-14, 2014, All Day. Main Street. The largest state BBQ challenge brings over 60 competing teams from across the country. Featuring live music, chef demos and pig races.

Canon City/Royal Gorge - Royal Gorge Whitewater Festival, June 20,21, 2014, Centennial Park. The third weekend in June is wet and wild during the Royal Gorge Whitewater River Festival when thrill&skill-seekers gather on the Arkansas in and near Cañon City for two days of kayak and raft races, paddleboard sprints, inner tube races, fly casting contests, triathlon events, disc golf tourney, live music, Fun Zone for kids, lots of food and, yes, beer. Colorado Springs - Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Fan Fest, Friday, June 27, 2014, Downtown Colorado Springs

Denver- Colorado Irish Festival, July 11 - 13, 2014, Clement Park, Experience the largest Irish celebration in the Rocky Mountains with traditional Irish music performances and dancing, Irish drama and storytelling, crafts, games and food and drinks at Clement Park.

Fort Collins - Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest, August 15-17, Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest is a free, three-day music festival held the third weekend in August each year in historic Old Town Fort Collins
