and your family will enjoy spectacular views while riding the Iron Mountain
Tramway. Take a guided walking tour of the Glenwood Caverns where you
will see amazing formations. Play on the thrill rides - the Canyon Flyer,
Swing Shot, and the 32-foot climbing wall - Doc's Rock, or enjoy the
new giant maze. The Lookout Grille serves lunch in the cozy comfort
of a Colorado rustic interior or al fresco on expansive viewing decks.
IRON MOUNTAIN TRAMWAY
The Park Entrance, has a state-of-the-art European pulse
gondola design, one of the first ever installed in the United States.
Visitors experience a towering panoramic view of the spectacular Rocky
Mountain scenery as they skim over the tops of the trees, up to the
top of Iron Mountain and the entrance to Glenwood Caverns and Historic
Fairy Caves. The 4,300-foot-long tram ride originates at Iron Mountain
Station located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Visitors of all ages
enjoy the seven-minute scenic ride inside six-person fully enclosed
gondolas with large clear windows. The gondolas are wheelchair accessible,
including motorized wheelchairs.
After visitors debark from the tramway gondolas, they can take a cave
tour, eat at the mountain-top restaurant, Lookout Grille , try exciting
thrill rides, or simply enjoy the expansive views.

CAVE TOUR
Enjoy a walking tour of Glenwood Caverns and Historic
Fairy Caves that takes you through the historic sections of the caverns
and out onto Exclamation Point, a cliffside balcony with panoramic views
of Glenwood Canyon and the Colorado River. You'll also journey down
into the mountain, on well-lighted walkways with handrails, to visit
King's Row, the most highly decorated cave room in Colorado!
The Walking Cave Tour lasts about 70 minutes and is
appropriate for most fitness levels. Our Walking Cave Tours operate
from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm during the summer season, and depart every 20
minutes. Reservations are not necessary so please note that ticket sales
for the Walking Tour are on a first come, first served basis.
ADVENTURE TOUR
Ready for more of
a challenge? Gear up for the Adventure Tour and explore new areas of
Glenwood Caverns & Historic Fairy Caves, located in Glenwood Springs,
Colorado. This tour is a great introduction to caving, with a combination
of walking and crawling through different sections of the caves. Experience
the excitement of squeezing through tight spaces to discover incredible
cave formations and underground wonders. This 90-minute guided tour,
introduced in 2005, is less strenuous than our Wild Tour, and more challenging
than our Cave Tour. Allow 2.5 hours total to gear up and gear down before
and after the tour. Reservations are required for the Adventure Tours,

SWING SHOT
Ready for a screaming thrill ride? Launch yourself out into Glenwood
Canyon, 1,300 feet above the Colorado River, on the Swing Shot! If you're
brave enough to open your eyes, your views of the Canyon are breathtaking
as you soar through the air at speeds up to 50 miles per hour. The Swing
Shot's safety harness can accommodate up to four riders at a time, so
you can share the adrenaline rush with friends.
BUNGEE TRAMPOLINE
Coming this summer! Jump, twist, and soar through the air on our bungee
trampoline! Once you're strapped snugly into the safety harness, start
to jump as you would on any trampoline. The bungee cords allow you to
jump higher and higher, adding somersaults and back flips, then returning
back to the trampoline with each bounce.
