Glenwood Springs - Operation Vacation Yagatta Regatta  May 2010.  The 7th annual Yagatta Regatta expands to two days this year at Two Rivers Park to include and celebrate the selection of Glenwood Springs as the site for the 2009 US Freestyle Kayaking Team Trials. Denver – Pride Fest   June 19-20, 2010   Recognized as one of the top ten pride events in the country, Denver's PrideFest is a celebration of community, heritage, family and culture. Produced by the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center of Colorado (The Center), more than 250,000 people from Colorado and surrounding areas come out to enjoy the parade, rally, music, entertainment, food and much more. PrideFest 2009 will again be a two day event, featuring family field day and Women's Celebration on Saturday. The Sunday PrideFest parade proceeds down Colfax Avenue and is a favorite event every year with floats from sponsors, non profits, local businesses, organizations, and politicians. The Pride festival features a full day of programming with live entertainment on three stages; the main stage, the community stage, and dance stage, a family interactive area and plenty of celebrating all day. There are also vendor booths including food, art, children's activities, social causes and health awareness. The Center organizes the entire event and also provides a VIP area with food and drinks for sponsors and contributors to enjoy.

Buena Vista/Salida -  13th Annual Tenderfoot Mountain Triathlon/Duathlon Triathlon and duathlon, September 4, 2010 Triathlon course consists of a 1000M (pool) swim, a 25 mile bike ride, and a 10k run. Duathletes compete in the bike, then the run courses of the triathlon. Triathlon teams are also encouraged to enter! This is a great race with a beautiful course and friendly volunteers. Kids' triathlon takes place the next day.

Buena Vista/Salida - Kiwanis Kids' Tenderfoot Mountain Triathlon for youth ages 5-14  September 5, 2010  The Kiwanis Kids' Triathlon is a great way to introduce your child to the sport of triathlon! Competitors are split up into 3 age groups; course length is dependent on age. Children must be at least 5 years old and able to swim one length of the pool without swim aids.
